Currently, I serve as the Maintenance & Automation Manager at Johnson Electric İzmir, a facility specialized in the production of oil and vacuum pumps. Johnson Electric previously operated as Stackpole Int. and Gates Corporation due to company rebranding. In this role, I oversee both electrical and mechanical maintenance operations across Assembly and Machining lines. My responsibilities also include managing Automation, Facility, and Warehouse systems, leading a maintenance team of 19 and an automation team of 6. This position has refined my leadership, technical expertise, and strategic planning capabilities. I would particularly like to highlight my strong background in PLC programming and industrial automation systems. In addition, I have hands-on experience in CMMS implementation, TPM practices, project management, and team leadership. I am well-versed in emergency and high-voltage systems management, ensuring full compliance with safety standards, and I have successfully led several capital investment projects. I have recently earned my Energy Manager certification, which complements my technical competencies and broadens my contribution potential in energy efficiency and sustainability efforts. A key achievement I take pride in was leading a project focused on increasing Overall Availability (OA) across both assembly and machining lines. As a result of our efforts, OA improved from 65% to 92% within just three years. Simultaneously, I delivered a 30% reduction in equipment downtime and achieved a sustainable 20% improvement in the Repair & Maintenance budget.
