My career started in engineering, but over the years I realized that the part of work I enjoy most is not just solving technical problems—it is bringing people, ideas, and projects together.
I spent over eight years working on nuclear energy projects at the Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission, where my work took me across project coordination, procurement, contracts, regulatory matters, research, stakeholder engagement, and international collaboration. I worked with engineering, finance, legal and regulatory teams, hosted international delegations, contributed to environmental and nuclear liability matters, and supported senior management with research and presentations.
Alongside my engineering career, I discovered that I genuinely enjoy working with people. Since 2023, I have also been involved in professional training, delivering communication, presentation and leadership sessions to engineers, scientists and professionals from both public and private organizations. That experience made me realize how much I enjoy helping people communicate better, build confidence and grow.
I later pursued a Master’s in Project Management, which brought together many of the things I was already drawn to—structured problem-solving, leadership, coordination and getting people and resources moving toward a common goal. I graduated with a 4.0 CGPA and received the Chancellor’s Honor Roll and Gold Medal.
At this stage of my career, I am particularly interested in work that sits at the intersection of people, learning, project management and meaningful impact. I am drawn to areas such as sustainability, energy transition, climate and social impact, organizational learning, leadership development and capacity building. I am also curious by nature and enjoy learning about subjects deeply, forming my own perspective, and then finding ways to turn that learning into something useful.
I am therefore looking for opportunities where I can bring my engineering and project background together with my strengths in communication, coordination, facilitation and people development—while continuing to learn and contribute to work that has a purpose beyond simply completing a task.
