What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a junior backend role with real production exposure—building Java/Spring Boot services in English-first teams, working on distributed systems and event-driven architecture with practical delivery and reviews.

I’m a final year Computer Engineering student at Gazi University, building production-style backend services through two internships and independent projects. I bring a strong foundation in Java, Spring Boot, and the JVM ecosystem, with a focus on reliable distributed systems.

In my PANDAOTO Java Developer Intern role, I implemented 4 REST endpoints with Spring Boot and PostgreSQL, reducing average query time by ~25% using composite indexes. I also refactored the pricing module to separate calculation logic from persistence, improving unit test coverage from 0% to 68%.

At Kaktüs Bilişim as a Software Developer Intern, I built and maintained C# modules for an internal ERP system using .NET 6 and Entity Framework Core. I diagnosed and resolved 3 recurring production bugs in a legacy reporting module by fixing off-by-one errors in date range filtering.

My projects include a Distributed Rate Limiter Library (Token Bucket and Sliding Window) using Redis, and an Event-Driven Order Matching Engine using Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, PostgreSQL, and Docker. I’m looking for a junior backend role with real production exposure in English-first engineering teams.
