I bring a unique combination of skills to the field of UX/UI design, including expertise in graphic design, a background in acting that helps me lead with empathy, and a track record of successfully managing projects. I am excited to collaborate with others and bring my talents to your team.
I started my career as an actor in Chicago. As a way of making ends meet (and begin my transition out of the service industry) I began graphic designing for local arts organizations — something I had been doing as a hobby since high school. After moving to Austin with my wife, I took a full-time job as a graphic designer for Ballet Austin. My interest in Product Design has led me to leave the non-profit world and pursue it full-time.
I bring a blend of creative problem-solving skills and attention to detail to every project, approach design with empathy (something I feel I've taken from my days as an actor), and am passionate about creating functional and user-friendly products. I am proficient in industry-standard design tools and constantly seeking new challenges and opportunities to learn and grow.
I am an outdoor enthusiast and enjoy biking, cooking and the design of a well-made city.
