I am Gourab Kumar Giri, a dedicated and ambitious individual with a strong background in Applied Geophysics. With a Master's degree from the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology (ISM), Dhanbad, I have developed a solid foundation in geophysical methods and their applications. My experience as a Research Intern at the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change has given me hands-on experience in surveying groundwater in coal mining areas.

I have also honed my skills in machine learning and deep learning through various courses and projects. My proficiency in programming languages such as Python, MATLAB, and Linux has enabled me to work on projects like image compression using unsupervised machine learning and well log and formation evaluation case studies.

As a team player, I have held various positions of responsibility, including Social Media Manager for the SEG student chapter and Student Member of the Geophysical Society. I am excited to bring my skills and experience to a dynamic organization and contribute to innovative projects.
