At Wingspan Couture, I ran the full monthly close and consolidation cycle, including sales, purchases, GST returns, and bank reconciliations, closing books within four days of month-end with zero late-filing penalties over three years.
As the sole finance advisor to the owner-CEO, I delivered monthly P&L, gross margin, inventory ageing, and working-capital packs. I translated budget variances into pricing and markdown strategies that lifted blended gross margin from 42% to 48%.
I rebuilt reporting in Excel Power Query, cutting turnaround from eight days to two days while aligning purchase planning with actual sell-through alongside store operations and custom tailoring teams.
My FP&A projects combine linked three-statement models, scenario forecasting, SQL, Python, and Power BI to uncover actionable drivers across budgeting, opex, revenue, profitability, and operating performance.
