Gokul Kesavan

At Formula Student Team Uttejit, I was part of the Formula Student Hybrid team and worked on the design and analysis of the car’s exhaust system and driveshafts. I also participated with the team in international competitions including Formula Imperial.

At Mansco Fluidtek Private Limited, I interned as a CAD Engineer in the Research and Development department. I worked on the design and benchmarking of hydraulic pumps and power packs.

For my electric motor vibroacoustic analysis project, I performed simulations to evaluate electromagnetic vibration and noise in electric traction motors, comparing their acoustic characteristics using Simcenter 3D and the NASTRAN solver.

I’m pursuing a master’s in Advanced Manufacturing at Technische Universität Chemnitz after earning a bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering from Vellore Institute of Technology. My projects have also included design for manufacturing of a piston head and connecting rod, a speed-breaker power generator, and a modular small-scale hydro-power plant.
