What I'm looking for
I’m a PhD candidate specializing in genomics, bioinformatics, and mitochondrial genetics, funded by the Japanese Government MEXT Scholarship at Kanazawa University. My work focuses on integrative multi-omics analysis, GWAS/PheWAS, and NGS data pipelines, with an emphasis on extracting biologically meaningful signals from complex data.
I apply machine learning and deep learning approaches—using supervised/unsupervised learning, CNNs/RNNs/autoencoders, and feature selection methods like PCA/UMAP/t-SNE—to predict phenotypic outcomes from genotype data. I also bring hands-on expertise with core tools and workflows (from alignment and variant calling to PLINK/GATK/BWA/Snakemake) and a proven track record of peer-reviewed publications across genomics, population genetics, and biomedical research.
