Gina Motsay

I’m an IBCLC who provides evidence-based lactation support through telehealth and in-person settings, guiding families with comprehensive breastfeeding assessments, including latch evaluation, milk transfer, and weight pattern monitoring. I develop individualized care plans to address challenges like nipple pain, low milk supply, engorgement, and oversupply while prioritizing parental mental health.

In my current roles, I consult thousands of expectant and breastfeeding families via secure telehealth platforms and partner with multidisciplinary teams and community providers to ensure continuity of care and equitable access. I also support clinical operations through documentation in EHR systems, patient communication, and administrative workflows including claims, insurance verifications, billing, and data entry.

Beyond bedside/remote care, I lead education and content creation—delivering virtual breastfeeding education and Zoom-based classes grounded in Academy of Breastfeeding Medicine Protocols. Earlier in my career, I built a strong foundation in high-accuracy record keeping, compliance, and training through aviation and Navy work, which still influences how I manage documentation, quality, and continuous improvement.
