What I'm looking for

I'm looking to create accessible, human-centered narratives around legal, political, social, humanitarian, or crisis-related issues, drawing on research, interviewing, editorial strategy, and experience with global, multicultural audiences.

I've spent 15+ years reporting and editing for Courthouse News Service, turning high-profile trials, lawsuits, rulings, and legal filings into clear, accurate public-facing coverage. I research statutes and case law, interview experts and affected communities, and manage content from research through CMS publishing and distribution.

I've also taught writing and communication across colleges including Massasoit Community College, Johnson & Wales, Community College of Rhode Island, and Florida International University. My work connects narrative journalism, legal research, instructional design, and humanitarian and policy storytelling for global, multicultural audiences.
