Gideon Ofosu Kyere

I’m an aspiring Data Scientist and Lecturer with a Statistics background, building my skills in Python, R, and SQL for data analysis and predictive modelling. I enjoy turning real-world data into forecasts and decisions that hold up under scrutiny.

As a Teaching Assistant at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, I strengthen my ability to explain concepts clearly and support learning through practice. I also bring public speaking and structured communication to every learning environment.

During my internship at the Ghana Meteorological Agency, I assisted with forecasts and the review of weather reports for maritime and coastal areas, supporting the issuance of weather forecasts while ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations. I’m especially interested in Bayesian-hierarchical modelling and Machine Learning, and I’m eager to apply them to forecasting-focused analytics and modelling.
