Gianna Andrews

My name is Gianna Andrews, and I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Allied Health Sciences at the University of Connecticut, set to graduate in May 2025. My experiences have equipped me with a solid foundation in both healthcare and customer service, allowing me to develop essential skills that are crucial in the medical field.

Throughout my work experience, I have had the opportunity to engage with children as a Party Host and Teaching Assistant at Once Upon a Treetop, where I supported teachers in creating a nurturing learning environment. Additionally, my role as a cashier at Badolato's Market honed my customer service skills, enabling me to assist customers effectively while managing the cash register. My time as a lifeguard further instilled a sense of responsibility and safety awareness, ensuring a secure environment for all swimmers.

Beyond my work experience, I am actively involved in several organizations at the University of Connecticut, including America Reads, where I support elementary students with their reading and math assignments. I am also a member of Canine Companions, where I assist in training service dogs, and Future Health Leaders, where I engage with healthcare professionals to discuss strategies for our future careers. I am passionate about making a positive impact in the healthcare sector and am eager to continue my journey in this field.
