At Hitachi Digital Services, I wrote Packer templates and Ansible playbooks for the only AMIs approved for EC2 across a 129-account AWS Organization. I also set up scheduled rebuilds to keep Windows, Ubuntu, and Amazon Linux images current and worked with the client's security team to validate them against CIS benchmarks.
For regulated financial services and telecom environments, I remediated vulnerabilities reported by Nessus and Prisma Cloud. I researched findings, coordinated approved fixes and change windows, and implemented the changes.
I supported PCI, FedRAMP, and CJIS landing zones, including reporting and remediation. As the primary contact for PCI in-scope accounts, I traced infrastructure issues across EC2, security groups, routing, and firewall inspection, resolving infrastructure problems and escalating application or firewall issues to their owning teams.
Earlier, at Verizon Media, I maintained server infrastructure behind AOL Mail's email metadata store and supported a large auto-scaling AWS deployment in antispam infrastructure. I also used GitHub, Chef, and Packer for repeatable builds and automated recurring operational fixes in Bash.
