George Ojwang

I’m a compassionate and driven medical doctor with a strong foundation in clinical care, medical teaching, research, and leadership. I’ve gained experience across both hospital and academic settings, building confidence in hands-on patient-centered practice.

Through roles including Medical Officer Intern at PCEA Kikuyu Mission Hospital and an Elective Medical Rotation in Orthopedics at AIC Kijabe Hospital, I strengthen my clinical medical practice while developing sound clinical assessment habits. I also served as a Medical Communications Intern, sharpening how I present medical information clearly and responsibly.

In parallel, I contribute to medical education as a Technical Anatomy Demonstrator (JKUAT) and a Human Anatomy Lecturer (Thika Kenya Medical Training College). I also worked as a Researcher for Undergraduate Study (JKUAT, 2023–2024), and I’m building research capability with “Research & SPSS” alongside my clinical work.

I lead with integrity and mentorship, serving as Secretary General – JKUAT Medical Students Association, a Standing Committee on Health and Environment – Federation of African Medical Students' Associations (FAMSA) National Officer, and as the PCEA Kikuyu Hospital MOIs Representative (2025 July Cohort). I’m also pursuing an MSc in Project Management (ongoing), supported by “BA in Humanitarianism & Conflict Response (Ongoing),” to broaden my impact beyond the clinic.
