At AVL, I led a cross-functional product and software development team and worked on physics-, data- and AI/ML-enhanced modeling. Battery digital twins for mobility applications reduced development time by 20% and costs by 15%.
At TU Graz, I co-founded and co-led the Modeling and Optimization of Cyber-Physical Systems group, acquiring and managing interdisciplinary research projects. At AEE INTEC, I led and acquired R&D projects for sustainable energy technologies and helped create an energy storage funding roadmap for Austrian Klima- und Energiefonds (KliEn).
My earlier research focused on computational quantum physics, Monte Carlo methods, data science and high-performance computing, including collaboration with CERN and DESY. I’ve also developed software for solar selective coatings and design-of-experiment, taught mathematics, physics and simulation, and co-founded two companies.
