What I'm looking for

I am looking for opportunities that allow me to grow in veterinary medicine and contribute to animal welfare.

I am a passionate veterinary assistant currently working at Dubuque Regional Humane Society, where I prepare for surgeries, administer medications and vaccines, and perform diagnostics and treatments. My role involves pre- and post-operative monitoring, ensuring the highest level of care for animals in need.

Previously, I interned at Montfort Veterinary Services and Trelay Land and Cattle, where I gained hands-on experience in semen testing, cattle processing, and herd health checks. My educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science with an emphasis in Pre-Vet and a Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences, which has equipped me with a solid foundation in veterinary practices.
