What I'm looking for

I’m looking for an auditing/accounting role where I can lead external audits, manage full-cycle bookkeeping, and handle VAT/Income Tax filings—while continuously strengthening clients’ internal controls with minimal supervision.

I’m an audit and accounting professional with 10+ years of experience across banking, accounting, and auditing, and I bring a strong grounding in SLAS and SLAuSs. I’m a member of the Association of Accounting Technicians of Sri Lanka (AAT) and have successfully completed the Business Level examination of CA Sri Lanka, combining technical accuracy with practical client delivery.

As an Audit Senior, I assist in conducting external audits, ensuring financial statements are prepared in line with Sri Lankan Accounting Standards and Auditing Standards. I handle detailed vouching of income, expenditure, and assets, execute full-cycle bookkeeping in QuickBooks (including Chart of Accounts, journal entries, and bank uploads), and manage bank reconciliations, while also supporting VAT, SSCL, and Income Tax filings through RAMIS and coordinating with the Inland Revenue Department on tax matters.
