I’m a motivated Accounting graduate and current Audit Associate at BR De Silva & Co., where I independently perform substantive testing across trade receivables, payables, and inventory while supporting multiple concurrent audit engagements. I also conduct analytical review procedures to flag unusual fluctuations, evaluate client internal controls, and document audit findings and weaknesses in full compliance with Sri Lanka Auditing Standards (SLAUS).
Before this, I trained with Ernst & Young Sri Lanka using globally recognized Big Four audit methodologies, gaining experience across healthcare audits, fixed assets verification, and year-end inventory observations. I’ve demonstrated applied research capability through an inventory discrepancy study on a Sri Lankan listed company, and I’m currently pursuing Chartered Accountancy at Corporate Level (ICASL), with expected completion within one year—focused on building a progressive career in external audit or finance.
