At Swiggy, I architected and owned the RDS-to-DynamoDB migration for a mission-critical delivery-partner service supporting order assignment, delivery serviceability, and payouts. The migration saved up to $6.8K/month through database downscaling.
I also reduced duty-stop cron runtime from about 10 minutes to 5 seconds for roughly 160K events a day by building a sparse index on blocked delivery partners. I built reusable Go migration components, including a generic dual-write layer and database-agnostic backfiller, and open-sourced the DynamoDB expression builder as Dynexpr.
Previously, at Goibibo-MakeMyTrip, I developed Go-based GraphQL middleware and built Goflow, a graph-based workflow framework. At Riverbed Technology, I developed route summarization for an SD-WAN controller, reducing memory use from 2.3 GB to 82 MB and stabilization time from 12 minutes to 12 seconds. I also built TheDSengine, a distributed-systems simulation platform with a deterministic, replayable Go simulation engine.
