Gaurav Verma

At Samsung R&D Institute Noida, I work on a mix of test automation and AI-based engineering solutions for web applications. Most of my work revolves around making testing faster, more reliable, and easier for teams to maintain.

One of the larger projects I worked on was migrating around 3,000 end-to-end tests from Protractor to Playwright. I coordinated with five engineers during the migration and helped bring execution time down by about 30%, while also reducing maintenance effort by roughly 30–40%. Along the way, I built a Playwright framework in JavaScript with reusable fixtures, utilities, reporting, retries, locator standards, codemods, and CI integration.

I also co-developed an AI-assisted workflow for defect reporting. It was used while reporting around 5,000 defects and helped cut the time spent on reporting by about 60% by automating Jira creation, evidence capture, uploads, and reproduction steps.

On the AI side, I have worked on a RAG-based test-case generation system that reached around 90% accuracy and 80% functional coverage in controlled trials. I also worked on a chatbot evaluation framework that generated and evaluated about 1,500 persona-based prompts across three services.

I enjoy working on problems where automation and AI can remove repetitive work, improve reliability, and make engineering teams more productive.
