Gary Caldwell

I am a Certified Peer Recovery Supporter and Chemical Dependency Counselor Assistant with two decades of lived recovery experience from alcohol, substance abuse, and acute depression. I blend personal recovery insight with formal training to support others in sustained recovery.

I have extensive group facilitation experience, including facilitating meetings at River City Correctional Center and volunteering at AA central office, where I focused on advocacy, resource access, and modeling recovery.

Prior to peer support work, I retired from a long career in electrical maintenance for the City of Cincinnati, bringing strong troubleshooting, repair and installation skills, emergency response experience, and a reliable work ethic.

I communicate lived experience with compassion, adhere to ethical and legal standards, and seek to support others through recovery by providing emotional support, practical resources, and effective group facilitation.
