What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a role where I can apply my academic writing, research, and content skills while learning, adapting, and being flexible in a contemporary environment, with room to grow through responsibility, collaboration, and quality expectations.

I am a graduand of Maseno University with a degree in Bachelors of Arts in Literature with IT, and I graduated on 14 of Nov 2025. I’m well-versed in listening and communication skills, making critical analyses of different texts and content, and I’m comfortable with records keeping, documentation, editing, and proofreading.

As an academic writer, I have experience producing essays, resumes, summaries, analyses, critiques, reviews, memos, letters, posts, responses, table of contents, and abstracts. After undergoing training and working for the Alecta group account and hiring writers in Kenya, I can also handle dissertation and research papers using MLA, Harvard, Chicago, Bluebook, and APA 6th and 7th. I do Search Engine Optimization (SEO) content writing, article writing, editing, and proposal writing.

I bring practical experience from my industrial attachment as a Child Protection Attaché under the National Council for Children Service (NCCS), supporting the Child Care Unit (CPU) on alternative care such as guardianship, foster care placement, and adoption. I also participated in inua jamii, where I registered households and entered data into the system for 12 locations in Vihiga County, completing uploads in the Consolidated Cash Transfer Programme Information Management System (CCTPIMS). In addition, I’ve worked on video and voice data annotation (including Swahili and English recordings) with quality control, labeling, and recording protocols, and I participated in a Tanzania fieldwork on the vitality of oral traditions (orature).
