At Information and Language Processing Research Lab (ILPRL), Kathmandu University, I performed data collection, preprocessing, augmentation, model training, evaluation, and deployment.
I fine-tuned transformer-based models for semantic retrieval and text generation, and developed retrieval models for low-resource Nepali language applications.
For my Nepali passport-domain Q&A system, I built a retrieval system with FAISS and developed a FastAPI inference service, which I containerized with Docker.
I also developed a customer support web application with real-time communication via WebSocket, PostgreSQL data persistence, and private attachment storage on AWS S3. I deployed its frontend and backend on an AWS EC2 instance using Docker.
