I'm completing my Ministry of Health internship in Amman after graduating with an MD from Jordan University of Science and Technology. My clinical rotations include internal medicine, general surgery, pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, emergency medicine, and an orthopedic surgery elective.

I've developed orthopedic-focused clinical exposure through suturing, wound care, splinting, immobilization, trauma assessment, perioperative care, musculoskeletal examination, and basic X-ray interpretation. I also completed an Emergency General Surgery elective at St Thomas’ Hospital in London, where I gained international clinical experience.

I'm building my orthopedic surgery path through VTE and joint-surgery research, quality improvement, and active professional engagement. My VTE prophylaxis audit poster ranked in the top 10% at the Global Knee Summit in Dubai, and I'm currently researching pre-operative deep vein thrombosis in patients undergoing total hip replacement in Jordan.
