What I'm looking for

I'm seeking an internal medicine role where I can manage acute and inpatient care, contribute to quality improvement, teach colleagues, and continue developing in evidence-based, patient-centred practice.

I'm an Internal Medicine Resident at Ibn Al Haytham Hospital, managing acute admissions, emergency presentations, daily ward care, investigations, treatment plans, ICU referrals, and discharge planning. I also teach colleagues through sessions on stroke localisation, heart failure, asthma, sepsis, and infective endocarditis.

I've improved medication ordering processes to reduce treatment delays and led local adaptation of IDSA hospital-acquired and ventilator-associated pneumonia guidance. My clinical experience includes internal medicine attachments, anaesthesia training, COVID-19 volunteering, and hands-on acute care skills including venous cannulation, ECG interpretation, airway management, and arterial blood gas sampling.
