With four years of professional experience as a Technical Artist in the film VFX industry, I have honed my skills in lighting and problem-solving. My journey began with a BSc in Computer Animation from the University of Portsmouth, where I graduated with first honors. Since then, I have contributed to various high-profile projects, including my role as a Lighting TD for MPC on the acclaimed series 'Prehistoric Planet'.
Throughout my career, I have developed a strong proficiency in coding gameplay features using C# in Unity and creating tools for Maya with Python. My technical expertise extends to particle systems, cloth simulation, and texturing, utilizing industry-standard software such as Substance Suite and Photoshop. I am particularly passionate about creating node-based shaders and have a solid understanding of lighting physics and PBR workflows.
In addition to my technical skills, I pride myself on my ability to collaborate effectively with teams, ensuring that projects meet high-quality standards and deadlines. I have also taken on mentorship roles, guiding junior artists in their development.
