I’m a final-year Computer Science student at the University of York with 14 months of full-stack industry experience, focused on React, TypeScript, and Kotlin. I’m a product-first engineer who enjoys taking ideas through to production and improving user experience through careful engineering.
At Anaplan, I shipped production-ready features across a modern React/TypeScript and Kotlin stack, owning the full development lifecycle from requirements gathering to deployment. I built frontend state management solutions to resolve UI inconsistencies, improved backend performance by fixing high-priority tickets, and worked in an Agile environment using pair programming and rigorous code reviews.
I’m also actively shaping my engineering mindset through a machine learning-based dissertation investigating mitigation of biases in data. Alongside engineering, I’ve led teams and operations as Vice President and Treasurer in the York University Skydiving Society, building communication and reliability in high-accountability settings.
