I've built scalable fullstack applications and data systems at Guild Education, supporting student eligibility, applicant qualification, and university partnership launches.
As a Senior Software Engineer, I designed and deployed an applicant qualification service that reduced ineligible applicants to zero. I also built an internal frontend component that let non-technical stakeholders update business requirements more quickly.
Earlier at Guild, I developed PostgreSQL-backed microservices synchronized with Salesforce through Amazon SQS and event-driven listener services. I automated workflows with AWS Lambda and CloudFormation while improving observability with DataDog.
I enjoy owning features from problem definition through production, partnering with product teams on user-focused solutions, and mentoring engineers on backend best practices. I also use GitHub Copilot to streamline documentation and unit testing.
