Francis Tarus

I am a dedicated Computer Science graduate with hands-on experience building web applications, managing databases, and implementing machine learning workflows. My work improves productivity, user engagement, and data-analysis accuracy.

In my current IT Support role I maintain data backups and servers, handle customer correspondence, and deploy software and hardware while hosting web applications and APIs. Previously I developed web applications with Python and PostgreSQL, worked with data-science packages in Anaconda, and applied scikit-learn for predictive modeling.

During an internship I built a library management system, provided on-site software installation and implementation support, and assisted as a teaching assistant improving student coding outcomes. I bring practical experience in database design, backup and restore, stored procedures, and resolving non-functional application issues.

I am passionate about cybersecurity and teaching, and I seek opportunities where I can apply my skills in software development, data management, and security to drive innovation and help teams grow.
