At Econet Wireless Zimbabwe, I assist with RAN planning and design, including coverage and capacity dimensioning for new and existing sites. I also participate in site surveys and candidate site identification for new base station rollouts.
I use network planning tools for RF propagation modelling and simulations, and analyze network performance KPIs to identify congestion, coverage gaps, and capacity upgrade requirements. My work also includes frequency planning and interference analysis across 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G layers.
At Zimbabwe Center for High Performance Computing, I provided technical support by troubleshooting hardware, software, and network connectivity issues. I configured network devices and documented standard operating procedures for common tasks.
During my internship at GREAT ZIMABWE UNIVERSITY CAMPUS RADIO, I designed, implemented, and tested radio broadcasting systems, including network infrastructure, audio processing, and transmission equipment. I also maintained studio and transmission equipment and helped develop disaster recovery plans.
