At Grupo Casas Bahia, I develop and maintain Java and Spring Boot backend services. I achieved a 10x throughput gain in the product catalog queue system by tuning stored procedures, triggers, and application code.
I refactored services from Java 8 to Java 21 and built Kafka-based event flows connecting product, pricing, stock, and status data across marketplace services. I also co-developed a service for processing product images.
Before moving into software engineering, I worked as a senior systems analyst at Grupo Casas Bahia, supporting APIs and production systems. I built internal tools that helped reduce the support queue from 200–300 open tickets to fewer than 30 in two years.
