I’m a Registered Nurse working in fast-paced Labor and Delivery/Transitional Nursery and Level 1/Level 3 NICU settings, where I’ve built the experience to grow my career in the Neonatal Specialty. I’m adept at providing exceptional patient care and support to patients and their families, especially for critically ill and premature newborns.
In my current role at Advent Health Wesley Chapel (June 2024–Present), I perform comprehensive newborn assessments—vital signs, reflexes, feeding readiness, thermoregulation, and skin integrity—and assist with resuscitation and stabilization following NRP guidelines. I also educate parents on newborn care, feeding, safe sleep, jaundice monitoring, and discharge readiness.
Before that, I worked at Tampa General Hospital North (April 2023–June 2024) and Lakeland Regional Health (Dec 2022–Dec 2024), supporting routine delivery attendance, unit quality initiatives (breastfeeding rates, early jaundice identification, and safe sleep compliance), and intensive monitoring for complex neonatal conditions like respiratory distress and sepsis. I bring additional depth from a Maternal-Newborn/NICU fellowship and an RN Residency Program in Medical/Surgical—strengthening clinical judgment, time management, prioritization, and safe patient care.
