What I'm looking for

I seek research-focused roles or R&D leadership that leverage signal-processing and ML skills, enable student mentorship, and deliver real-world acoustic and biomedical impact.

I am a signal-processing researcher with a PhD and over three decades of academic and industry experience across Canada, Europe and Asia.

I have published more than 140 refereed papers and led R&D projects on bio-signal monitoring, passive acoustic monitoring and next-generation intelligent vehicular networks, while supervising graduate students and serving as principal investigator for ONC and NSERC-funded efforts.

My technical strengths include machine learning, deep learning, time-series and audio/acoustic signal processing, bioacoustics, wearable sensors and large-scale data analysis, supported by extensive experience with MATLAB and Python.

I contribute to the field as an editor and guest editor for multiple journals and seek collaborative research and R&D leadership roles that translate advanced signal-processing methods into impactful applications.
