Contract Manager specializing in rail claims and disputes, leading high-value contracts and supplier governance.
What I'm looking for
I’m a Contract Manager specializing in contract law with a focus on the rail industry, claims, and disputes. Since January 2023, I’ve led contract management for “special projects” with a pipeline value of “150 million euros,” bringing structure, clarity, and momentum to complex supplier and stakeholder environments.
I’ve successfully negotiated “several claims and counter claims to a conclusion,” and I act as the Contract Manager dedicated to the Procurement function—supporting with drafting contracts, negotiating clauses, and resolving disagreements on “supplier quality, non conformities and overall liability.” I also handle governance responsibilities to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations, coordinating with “legal, finance, and procurement departments.”
To drive outcomes and reduce risk, I draft “reservation of rights letters, claim letters, and settlement agreements promptly to avoid time bars.” I initiated a site-wide tracker to capture claimable events and monitored each claim item through weekly calls, while preparing claims against suppliers and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships through consistent reporting.
My foundation is built on years of conveyancing and litigation-adjacent work, including fee earner experience where I reviewed title documents, supported onboarding and training, and built practical tracking tools. I’ve also managed large caseloads (exceeding “300 files”), completed “Source of Funds checks” with anti-money laundering compliance, and supported court-facing documentation—so I approach contracts with a calm, detail-driven mindset and a strong commercial understanding.
