I'm a backend engineer working on marketplace systems at scale, promotions, pricing, cart, checkout, and order placement.
Most of my work sits where reliability meets performance. I've replaced manual operational workflows with self-service platforms, cut execution time on high-traffic queries by large margins through MySQL optimization, and I own production reliability for my area: root-cause analysis, recovery workflows, and alerting that surfaces failures before anyone reports them.
I also ship customer-facing features end to end: indexing, product pages, cart, checkout, order placement and I like owning the whole path rather than a slice of it.
Day to day: Python, FastAPI, MySQL, Redis, Temporal, and unit testing. I came up through competitive programming, 900+ problems and ICPC, which still shows in how I approach performance work.
