Faiz Ahmed

I am a Data Engineer with 3 years of experience generating data-driven automated insights for renewable energy and asset performance management platforms. I focus on turning operational data into actionable, real-time intelligence.

I have designed and implemented ETL pipelines and ML model pipelines using AWS services (SQS, API Gateway, Lambda, S3, EC2) and Elasticsearch/DynamoDb as data stores. I built a solar panel and battery sizing calculator integrated via MQTT and API Gateway, and developed dashboards and automated email reporting for real-time site condition updates.

My hands-on projects include site downtime forecasting (40% accuracy using historical analysis, SVM and piece-wise linear models), a digital twin for site simulation, and State-of-Health (SoH) models for batteries. I have also executed on-site R&D, design verification, and benchmarking for renewable plant performance.

I hold a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering and am pursuing an MBA, and I maintain AWS and Coursera certifications to stay current. I am driven to scale APM products, improve operational reliability, and collaborate with teams that value data-driven decision making.
