I'm currently training in neuropsychiatry at Federal Neuropsychiatric Hospital, Barnawa, Kaduna, where I evaluate, diagnose and manage patients with mental health disorders under supervision. I take psychiatric histories, conduct mental state examinations, and support inpatient, outpatient and emergency care.
Across Al-Madinat Specialist Hospital, Giwa Specialist Hospital, the National Primary Health Care Development Agency, Ashmed Specialist Hospital and military and teaching hospitals, I've delivered clinical, preventive and emergency services. My work has included paediatrics, obstetrics and gynaecology, maternal and child health, resuscitation, documentation and patient education.
I'm pursuing an MSc in Public Health and have contributed to community programmes on cervical cancer awareness, screening and HPV vaccination. I have also served as a state facilitator and master trainer for frontline health care workers.
I bring a patient-centred approach to multidisciplinary care, clinical documentation, health education and research. My research on pre-eclampsia examined local risk factors and preventive measures to inform clinical recommendations.
