What I'm looking for

I seek roles in downstream process development or purification where I can lead scale-up experiments, apply DoE and analytical testing, and contribute to robust biomanufacturing in a collaborative environment.

I am a chemical engineer with MSc training and hands-on experience in downstream process development for biopharmaceuticals, focused on purification, filtration, and process optimization. At Amgen and Merck I led lab- and pilot-scale experiments to evaluate manufacturability, improve step yields, and support material generation for scale-up.

My research background includes drug-delivery and complex fluids work at the University of Maryland, where I designed experiments, analyzed data, and applied polymer rheology methods. I have applied DoE routinely and performed analytical testing such as HPLC and GX to ensure product quality.

I bring cross-cultural experience from academic and industry roles in the US, UK, and Turkey, strong software skills including Aspen Plus and MATLAB, and a collaborative problem-solving approach aimed at enabling robust, scalable downstream processes.
