What I'm looking for

I’m seeking opportunities where I can contribute strong analytical, research, and laboratory skills to environmental protection and sustainability, with a focus on HSE compliance, safe lab work, and meaningful scientific research.

I’m an Environmental Management and Toxicology graduate who brings practical experience in environmental sampling, toxicological research, laboratory analysis, and field investigations. I’m experienced in preparing and analyzing environmental samples while supporting scientific research with strong laboratory safety habits.

In my undergraduate research, I conducted a genotoxicity study using the comet assay to assess DNA damage in Clarias gariepinus exposed to cassava wastewater. I collected post-juvenile fish samples, exposed them to varying concentrations for 96 hours, and documented concentration-dependent behavioural changes and DNA damage—then concluded the importance of proper treatment before environmental discharge.

During my SIWES internship at the Owena River Basin Joint Analytical Research Laboratory, I prepared environmental samples (filtration, drying, grinding, digestion, and dilution) and collected water, soil, air, sediment, and biological samples. I operated laboratory equipment under supervision, followed safety procedures and PPE requirements, and supported toxicological experiments while measuring environmental parameters during field activities.

Across roles, I focus on interpreting environmental data, maintaining record keeping, and producing clear research documentation and technical reports. I’m passionate about environmental protection, sustainability, and HSE compliance, and I’m seeking opportunities where I can contribute strong analytical, research, and laboratory skills.
