As an experienced instructional leader, I have dedicated my career to enhancing mathematics education through innovative curriculum development and mindfulness practices. My journey has been marked by significant achievements, including being a 2024 Teacher of the Year Nominee and a 2022 Spotlight Award Winner. I have successfully improved SBAC math scores by 200% within two years and secured over $1,500,000 in grant funding to support educational initiatives.
Throughout my tenure in various school districts in New York and Connecticut, I have developed and implemented K-12 Common Core Mathematics curriculum maps and created a mindfulness room, CALM, which has been featured in the Connecticut Post and NPR.
