At UmactualeeTheatre, I conceived, produced, and directed Red Hare’s Wish, an original musical blending classic Chinese and contemporary musical motifs. I built and led a collaborative production company to bring the piece to life, and its debut performances sold out.
As producer and supervisor on CagedSisters Musical, I produced a sold-out Camden Fringe Festival show and grew its Instagram account from nothing to over a thousand. I also hosted every night of the show.
I’ve directed and devised theatre across student and professional productions, including an interactive piece for Trouble in Guam and a graduation play at NCCU. My work often brings musical theatre together with cultural themes and a post-modern twist.
