At Atlantic Fire Equipment Co, Inc, I create fire system drawings and obtain permits for installations. My work includes projects for McDonald’s, Chik-Fil-A, US Air Force bases, and airports.
I created drawing templates for different fire system types, including templates with automated nozzle chart generation. Fire marshals have reviewed my work positively, and some newer templates are being reused by others.
I also make digital forms that pull information from the company’s shared database, along with tools and organization systems employees use. I often troubleshoot technical issues for colleagues.
Before that, at Universal Services Associates, I designed and detailed museum and aquarium exhibits, including interactive exhibits for visitors with sensory sensitivities. I created approval packages and design documents for a client the company had struggled to get approvals from, and developed CAD standards for future projects.
