What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a role where I can support writers and learners—using copyediting, publishing, and digital communications—while collaborating with a team that values clarity, feedback, and growth.

I’m a Teaching Assistant and Writing Tutor who supports student learning through literature, literary analysis, and hands-on writing guidance. In my current roles, I work one-on-one and alongside faculty to strengthen understanding and confidence.

At Bemidji State University, I collaborate with multiple faculty members to assist in teaching several class periods, crafting exam questions, leading review sessions, and supporting individual learning in literature and literary analysis. I also served as a Teaching Assistant for three courses and presented written academic works at conferences.

I bring a strong writing and editorial foundation shaped by my English degree, plus real-world experience in copyediting and publishing. I help students draft, edit, and finalize writing in both creative and technical formats, and I apply teaching skills like literary analysis, media literacy, and universal designs for learning.

Beyond classroom support, I’ve developed media and communication experience through social media management, marketing, and digital communications—skills I can bring to roles across content, publishing, and communications. I’m also comfortable in fast-paced, people-centered environments where I manage details, deadlines, and ongoing responsibilities.
