What I'm looking for

I'm looking to transition back into software engineering, where I can build reliable Java or Python tools for data validation, reconciliation, and workflow automation while continuing to deepen my engineering skills.

At Capital Group's Eagle CSTAR team, I built Python and Java tooling that caught financial data discrepancies before they reached downstream systems. I also automated monthly file archival across Linux servers through scheduled Jenkins jobs, replacing manual cleanup for hundreds of files per run.

I'm now based in Japan, teaching while transitioning back into software engineering and rebuilding my Java skills through a Java 21 CSV reconciliation tool. The project compares datasets, reports missing rows and field-level mismatches, and uses a Loader → Reconciler → Reporter pipeline built with Maven and Apache Commons CSV.
