Angel Contreras

I’m a Python developer and data analyst with a background in applied physics. I build automation and data pipelines with Python to transform raw information into decisions, blending statistical rigor with practical engineering.

In my most recent role, I automated Jira ticket resolution to reduce manual workload, built automatic backup pipelines on Google Cloud to improve data reliability, and developed big data workflows to extract insights. I also produced statistical reports used by leadership for product prioritization, and I’ve applied neural networks to biochemical modeling and quantitative analysis of financial markets.

I’m also passionate about turning complex problems into measurable outcomes. As an AI Programmer, I designed and trained a neural network to predict LogP, then processed and analyzed large biochemical datasets to validate results. I’m open to roles in data science, quantitative analysis, AI & Machine Learning, or Python development, and I’m continuously sharpening my skills through ML specialization and data analytics work in progress.
