Edward Cunanan

I've designed and modified electrical distribution system schematics for Ford Ranger, Raptor, Everest, and Volkswagen Amarok programs at Sumidenso Automotive Technologies Asia Corporation. My work includes Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle and high-voltage inverter schematics using Zuken E3.

I validate more than 100 circuits and wirings through computer-aided engineering analysis, identifying voltage drop, resistance, temperature, short-circuit, and fuse-blow risks before release. I've also assessed product direction changes, coded Boolean expressions from Wiring Giveaway Optimizer files, supported power-distribution and overcurrent-protection-device studies, and collaborated with teams across Australia, India, Thailand, China, and the USA.

I've supervised MEPFS implementation for clubhouse projects, managed electricians and suppliers, prepared BOQs, BOMs, permits, and operation and maintenance manuals, and trained five new engineers. As acting team leader for nine system engineers, I supported team concerns while improving processes through 8D root-cause analysis.
