At DS Smith, I manage the end-to-end SAP invoicing process for a dedicated supplier portfolio, from verification through to posting and payment, and have contributed to process improvement by optimising OCR templates to increase automated invoice processing rates.
Previously, at Network Rail (UK), I worked within a Shared Services environment handling billing, payment receipting and bank reconciliation for daily transaction volumes of up to £100 million, later moving into debt recovery and complex payment allocation. At Granit Parts, I led the implementation of a new invoicing and collections platform in direct collaboration with a German head office, and managed a customer portfolio covering collections, daily bank reconciliations and month-end support.
This mix of AP, AR, billing and collections experience means I can adapt quickly across different areas of finance operations.
