I’m a graduate of Medical Laboratory Science from the University of Nigeria, Enugu campus (B.MLS, 2017–2023), and I’m seeking a position as a Medical Laboratory Associate. I’m a self-starter and go-getter who wants to support the establishment with honesty, diligence, professionalism, and total commitment.
In my clinical training at University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital (UNTH) from 2019 to 2023, I performed stat and routine testing on a variety of specimens quickly and accurately. I also maintained laboratory equipment and troubleshoot/resolved instrument problems, and I quickly mastered Meditech systems.
At Divine Grace Hospital and maternity Laboratory (Nov. 2023–till date), I set up a collection center to meet recommended safety and hygiene standards. I collect samples for laboratory analysis, properly and carefully analyze patient samples, and support proper reporting and documentation of laboratory results, including maintenance of work devices and machines and assistance in stock taking.
Through my project research at Lamb of God Medical Laboratory (June–Sept. 2023), I gained hands-on microbiology experience by assisting in culture media preparation and culture plate reading/microscope work. I also learned proper culturing of organisms to prevent contamination, strengthening my attention to quality and procedure.
