What I'm looking for

I seek backend roles with strong engineering practices, CI/CD and DevOps involvement, collaborative Agile teams, and opportunities to scale production systems.

I am a software developer with four years of hands-on experience designing, building, and deploying web applications and backend services. I focus on delivering reliable, scalable solutions across the full software development lifecycle.

My work spans RESTful API design, secure authentication (JWT, OTP), database architecture, and performance optimization using MongoDB, PostgreSQL and MySQL. I have strong experience with Node.js, Express, React, Redux, Spring Boot, and Flutter.

I implement CI/CD pipelines, containerized deployments, and cloud infrastructure using GitHub Actions, Docker and AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, CloudFront, SES). I also lead code reviews, testing cycles, and TDD practices to ensure maintainable, high-quality code.

I collaborate effectively with remote and cross-functional teams to deliver business-critical features, having contributed to production platforms, payment integrations, and multiple client-facing projects in Rwanda and remotely.
