Backend engineer (PHP/Symfony) with 10+ years of commercial experience, ready to join your team remotely. Open to any interesting project with an international, remote-first company. Based in Uruguay (UTC-3), with full overlap with US business hours.

Backend engineer with 10+ years of commercial experience building high-load web applications. Core stack: PHP and Symfony (5.4–7.4), with hands-on experience in Go and actively growing in it.

Beyond coding, I've introduced code review practices, stepped in as team lead, and managed small development teams. Comfortable working in distributed and international teams.

I pick up new technologies quickly: over my career I've gone from maintaining CMS-based sites to architecting framework-based Big Data systems using CQRS, DDD and hexagonal architecture.

Languages: Russian (native), English (professional working proficiency, B2) — documentation, written communication, meetings.

Experience:
At Logical Models LABS, I developed and maintained services for the CPA platform, SMS campaigns, automation, statistics, and partner network integrations. I also led the development group for the SMS campaigns service and conducted regular code reviews.

At Sibers, I participated in reengineering a technically complex Big Data project, implementing hexagonal architecture, CQRS, DDD, and TDD approaches, and migrating to ClickHouse.

At Banki.ru, I developed and supported functionality for the OSAGO insurance product, helped update its stack from PHP 7.2 and Symfony 5.3 to PHP 8.2 and Symfony 6.2, and led a small group working on breaking down the old monolithic service.

My core stack is PHP and Symfony, and I have experience with Go and a strong interest in growing into it. I’ve stepped in as a team lead, managed small development teams, and worked with distributed international teams.
